Your path to peace, presence & purpose—putting you first.

Hi! I’m Belinda.
I’m a writer, mindful goal-setter, unapologetic yarn hoarder, and a woman who has lived through roller coaster debt stress, and the weight of trying to be the best mom without losing sight of myself in the process.
If you’ve ever felt like you’ve given so much of yourself to do for others that you forgot to be there to give back to yourself, and now you’re left wondering, at what point you disappeared from your own life, well welcome to a new beginning. This space was designed with you in mind.
Serenity & Oak was born out of my own individual search for internal peace and security. Not the cookie cutter simulation of peace that you might see in a yoga ad. Yes, that may very well be someone’s perfect visualization of peace, but everyone has their own connection with the concept of peace and for many it can only be found internally. I knew that traditional version wasn’t for me, so I had to look within to find something that clicked.
The peace I sought needed to be grounding. The kind that roots in soil nourished by your own personal experiences. The kind that helps you breathe more deeply, move more slowly, and begin putting yourself at the helm of your own life’s ship. Living intentionally. Living for you.
Why “Serenity & Oak”?
Because peace should feel soft and comforting, like the fertile Earth beneath your feet–but also strong and endlessly empowering.
Like the grand oak tree, you deserve to be roots-deep in a secure foundation, grounded, and unshakable.
And serenity, because you deserve to move through life with beauty, style and grace—even when life gets ugly.
In this safe space, I share:
- Mindful living practices to help you slow down, disconnect and and reconnect.
- Personal growth tools to help you get clarity and set gentle goals.
- Emotional wellness support to help you stop putting everyone else first and start prioritizing you
- Sacred space inspiration for creating a place for peace in your home and within yourself
- Gentle financial tips—but only the kind designed to ease your stress, not add to it.
Who I Write For?
This space is for women who are ready to:
- Simplify their life so they get to enjoy it.
- Reconnect with their dreams, desires, and self worth.
- Rebuild their confidence after years of putting themselves second or even last.
- Create a life that feels good inside and out and from every angle. One that looks good from the inside looking out—and not just in public.
You don’t need anyone’s permission to prioritize your healing. There’s no special time or place you need to start from. Start from where you are. And know that you’re not too late to the party. The party begins the moment you walk into the room, show up, and show out for yourself.
This is a judgment-free, no-pressure space. I’m just here to walk beside you and watch you shine.
A Little More About Me
I’m a single mom, a bit of an over-thinker, but who isn’t, and a lover of beautiful art.

I paid off over $20,000 in credit card debt and most recently paid off my entire $17,000 student loan balance—not by sacrificing my joy and happiness, but by getting mindful and intentional about what my goals really are and what being free means to me.
I’m a strong believer that even the tiniest steps taken with intention can change your whole life.
You won’t find perfection here. What you will find is honesty, encouragement, and actionable steps to help you build a life that feels more like you.
And I self-published a goal-setting workbook called “One Goal: 6 Month Journey for Creating Your Dream Life” to help other women create solid, mindful goals to achieve their dreams. I was so excited when I found out that I could publish a book on Amazon without having to write query letters and pray that someone would say yes to publishing my book. Check it out when you get a chance.
I want you to benefit from the things I had to learn the hard way. It’s now my mission to use my words and experiences to help and inspire you to make changes for the sake of your future self, your dreams, and your serenity. Feel free to reach out.
The Words I Live By
Success is attainable for all who walk in self-worth.
Love people for who they are, not for who you want them to be.
